FAQs

DO I NEED TO HAVE A DANCE BACKGROUND?

Experience is not required. Most of our students did not have a dance background prior to take our ballet or stretch classes. That means you show up as you are, whether you’re brand new to dance and flexibility, had some experience in the past or exercising with injuries - we will work together to reach your goals.

How do I get started?

We offer ballet inspired workouts and ballet classes. Ballet inspired workouts are conditioning class that activates the muscles that are used in ballet training. Pick a class and jump in.

For you first ballet class we recommend the absolute beginner ballet lessons (Ballet Theory and Practice) or our online course Ballet from Zero to Pro, so you can get started on the right foot. You’ll go over the fundamentals of dance, basic terminology (and there are plenty!) and get you comfortable with dancing.

If you have done ballet before and remember what is plié, battement tendu and adagio, you can join our Beginner Ballet class rather way. For more experienced dancers who would like to pirouette and stuff, intermediate level is recommended.

What is the appropriate attire for the ballet classes?

Dancing is about movement and enjoyment. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to be flexible and relaxed. You can wear anything you want for your first lesson. Afterwards, you’ll may want to get a ballet slippers for ballet classes but they are not mandatory.

What is your cancelation policy?

We have a 24-hour cancelation policy, so please let us know in advance of cancelations to avoid being charged. For our online courses we have a 30-day refund from the date of purchase.

For what ages do you offer classes?

Dancing is a natural and ageless form of expression. Although dance has no age restrictions, we are catered primarily towards adults looking to learn something new and have fun doing it.

Can I achieve my fitness goals THROUGH dance?
